Spa Policies & Practices
Ideally, spa-goers receive the pampering treatments they've paid for. With seasonal fluctuations or high staff turnover, spa operations may not meet expectations. According to Kile Law of Blue Water Spa, some spas are leaving clients unattended in treatment rooms as therapists divide their time among guests. Ms. Law suggests that such practices are stressful, uncomfortable for clients, and also put them at risk to fall off a table or be harmed by an unsupervised treatment. Consumers are encouraged to check a spa's policy before scheduling an appointment or purchasing a gift certificate.
